Temple Israel Bat Mitzvah

The Tipp family might be about as nice as it gets. I met Adria’s dad, Alan, working with Defy Nebraska and was completely honored to have been asked to document their daughter Adria’s Bat Mitzvah.
This family has the most incredible story. The moms of Alan and his wife, Sonia, have been best friends since they were kids. I feel like it’s every mother’s dream to have their children pair up with their best friends’ children. Needless to say, they’re one truly big and loving family.
The morning was spent with Adria and her family as they prepared for her ceremony at Temple Israel. Once family photos were done and her ceremony began, I snuck out for the afternoon before her huge party began.
And party, indeed, they did. Adria’s closest friends and family danced the hora, played games, and partied like it was their job.
This day truly warmed my heart. It’s hard to express in words how family-oriented Adria’s Bat Mitzvah was. I’ve never seen so many people so excited to see each other and love on each other.
