Kayla and Kris had the most amazing Champions Run wedding in Omaha! Both work at Champions Run...Kayla as the Director of Weddings and Banquets while Kris manages the club house and restaurant. As you've likely assumed, Kayla and Chris met and grew their relationship at Champions Run. So naturally, planning a wedding and fantastic guest experience there was really important to them.
Kayla began her day getting ready with her family and friends at her and Kris' home while Kris and his buddies got ready at a hotel nearby. Kayla had THE MOST STUNNING wedding dress from one of our favorite local Omaha wedding bridal shops, Rhylan Lang. This Wtoo by Waters wedding dress might be one of the most ornate and beautiful wedding dresses we've ever seen and it looked like it was made just for Kayla.
They had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul and then headed off to their absolutely AMAZING wedding reception. We heard continuously throughout the day that when you're with Kayla and Kris you're guaranteed to have a good time. That was no lie. Kayla and Kris didn't leave out one detail. Prior to their dinner, they had a lovely cocktail hour with an amazing cheese spread, Blue Sushi, and great cocktails.
Their wedding design, decor, and flowers by Aaron Carlson Design were absolutely stunning and set the stage for a delicious dinner catered by Champions Run. Their decor was elegant and modern. Deep pinks, reds and golds with the perfect touch of candles and ambient lighting. It felt warm and cozy and perfect for their fall wedding. Their bar back was absolutely AMAZING! Full-on greenery with their beautiful monogram lit with spotlights. It was so unique and we've never seen anything like it in our years as wedding photographers in Omaha!
The spent the rest of the evening with hilarious speeches, stories, well wishes, and dancing to a great live band. Without a doubt, their family and friends had the best time at their wedding celebration. It was so fun to see Kayla, Kris, and all their guests have the best time in a place that was so special to them. It's safe to say they live up to always being a good time.
