Amy and Ray's Lucky Bucket Wedding

Omaha Wedding Photographers

Ray and Amy have been dear friends of mine for years.  They are such a fun and unique couple and it was only natural that they would plan a day that was fitting just for them.

I originally met Ray and Amy while Ray and I were both working for a beer distributor in the area.  We became fast and close friends.  Fast forward several years and different jobs later, Ray and Amy were finally getting married!  Ray still works in the beer industry and Amy is a graphic designer.  Their personalities completely shone through in their celebration!  Amy was a TROOPER on her wedding day as she completely CRUSHED the bones in her foot a few weeks prior at her bachelorette party.  Not many people could rock a cane and crutches on their wedding day, but Amy did.

I met Ray and his groomsmen early in the morning at All In the Cut Barber Shop as they got fresh fades for the day, while Amy and her bridesmaids got ready at the Embassy Suites LaVista.  It was so fun getting ready with these guys and their friends.  They are hilarious to be around, had great gifts to pass around, and kept sticker mustaches around just incase they needed to wear them.

Their Ford Birth Site wedding ceremony in Omaha and it was absolutely gorgeous.  Their closest friends and family joined them at their beautiful outdoor ceremony that was officiated by one Ray's oldest friends from North Platte, NE.  It was funny, heartwarming, and perfectly personal to them.

Once their ceremony was over, they loaded up a party bus and headed to a local favorite of theirs, Barrett's Barleycorn, and had a few cocktails before they headed over to their wedding reception.

They chose the most PERFECT venue for their Omaha wedding reception.  The Lucky Bucket Brewing Company warehouse and sampling room was awesome, unique, and perfectly fitting for them.  Their tables were decorated with custom beer growlers, hops, bottle tops, and unique flower arrangements by Loess Hills Floral.  It was so unique and cute!  They were taken over by a dancing flash mob and danced the night away to the best 90's hip hop ever.  It was the perfect day planned just for them and it was so fun to be their Omaha wedding photographer!
