Jacquelyn and John had a gorgeous, chilly, December wedding ceremony at St. John's Parish on Creighton University's campus. What is always so special about getting married at St. John's in Omaha is that we know it always means something really important to those that choose to marry there. The students at Creighton University see St. John's every day of their college career. They walk past it, fellowship inside it, and make memories in front of it with their friends and future spouses. We always know it means something to someone.

Jacquelyn and John had some pretty relaxing morning preparations the day of the wedding, keeping their day intimate and family-driven. Family is SO important to these guys. The bonds that they have with each of their families was such a solid representation to their character and often times brought a little tear to our eyes.

Their ceremony was lovely and they deeply took in every word that was spoken throughout their readings. They had little glances at each other, big laughs, and tears as they said their vows.

When their ceremony commenced, it started to snow delicate little flakes! We LOVE "weather" and the added character it brings to a wedding day. Jacquelyn and John cuddled in the snow for a little bit for some quick portraits before they kicked off their awesome wedding reception at the Holland Center in Omaha.

The Holland Center is a gorgeous and modern reception venue that is perfect for party of any size. It's classy, full of interesting textures, and completely inspiring. Throw in The Confidentials as your wedding band, and you've got yourself some killer ambiance.

After the tear-filled first dances, toasts, and cake cutting, the dance floor CAME ALIVE. It was incredible. Jacquelyn mentioned in a previous meeting that she was really excited to dance. She wasn't kidding. Everyone else was just as excited as her. There was so much amazing dancing that we left asking, "Are they in an Omaha dancing club?" It was so fun to watch everyone have such a great time.
